City Council Minutes: 4/27/26

The council of the City of Linn met in special session at the Linn City Building at 6:30 p.m., April 27, 2026.

Present: Councilmembers Mike Meenen, Claire Wohler, Tyson Hynek, and Brent Lehman.

Absent: A quorum was present.

Presiding: Mayor Jared Hatesohl

Present also: Teresa Penning, Clerk, Kent Woerner, Lori Nutsch, Deb Rogge, Andrew Tiemeyer, Kyle Richardson, Cesar Perales and Jesus Perales.

Mayor Jared Hatesohl called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.

Mayor Jared Hatesohl announced that the buyer of the lot will pay $500 earnest money at contract signing and all closing costs. Mayor Hatesohl proceeded to auction the lot to the highest bidder, Kent Woerner.  Brent Lehman moved, seconded by Mike Meenen to approve the sale of the Linn Housing Authority Lot at 312 Church Street in the amount of $11,000 to Kent Woerner. Motion carried.

Tyson Hynek moved, seconded by Claire Wohler to adjourn. Motion carried.
